Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Team Leader to oversee carpentry operations within an event fabrication and production workshop based in Riyadh. This role requires a hands-on leader with a background in joinery, scenic construction, or exhibition fabrication, capable of managing a team and ensuring quality craftsmanship in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead and supervise a team of carpenters, coordinating daily tasks to meet production deadlines. Responsibilities include interpreting technical and CAD drawings, managing workshop workflows, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The role also involves hands-on fabrication using materials such as MDF, plywood, laminates, and other woodworking components. Additional duties include overseeing installation, dismantling, and on-site work during events.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in carpentry, joinery, scenic construction, or shopfitting
• Proven leadership and team supervision capabilities
• Strong practical skills with MDF, plywood, laminates, and woodworking tools
• Ability to read and comprehend technical and CAD drawings
• Familiarity with workshop machinery, including CNC routers, is an advantage
• Keen attention to quality control, safety standards, and project deadlines
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, deadline-driven event production setting

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in event fabrication, exhibition stand construction, scenic design, interior fit-outs, or related fields will be given priority. A background in both workshop and on-site installation work will be beneficial.
