Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join a challenging high-rise tower project in Jeddah. This role involves hands-on responsibility for the direct execution and supervision of civil and structural works, ensuring all activities meet the highest standards and comply with project specifications and local building codes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Civil Engineer on this prestigious high-rise tower project, your duties will include:

• Serving as the main contractor’s site engineer, managing all civil and structural work execution including substructure, superstructure, concrete works, and waterproofing.
• Overseeing the coordination and support of architectural tasks related to the project, extending beyond typical civil and structural duties.
• Reviewing structural and shop drawings, method statements, and inspecting critical construction stages such as excavation, formwork, reinforcement placement, concrete pouring, and backfilling.
• Collaborating closely with quality control, safety, and planning teams to ensure timely project delivery in accordance with Saudi Building Code standards.
• Managing labor crews and subcontractors, tracking work progress, verifying quantities, and assisting in payment certification processes.
• Preparing accurate quantity take-offs and measurements for interim payment claims and evaluating variations or change orders.
• Handling communications with the technical team and design consultants to address RFIs, site queries, and design clarifications.
• Maintaining comprehensive site records, daily progress reports, and as-built documentation.
• Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations during all phases of civil and architectural works.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess at least 10 years of experience working on towers and branded 5-star hotel projects. Strong expertise in managing large-scale civil and structural works is essential, along with proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
