Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Khobar. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processing, maintaining accurate employee records, and ensuring compliance with labor and tax laws within the oil and gas contracting sector.

Key Responsibilities

The Payroll Specialist will oversee payroll cycles on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis using Microsoft Excel and ZenHR software. This role includes verifying timesheets, calculating bonuses and overtime payments, and updating benefits deductions accurately. Maintaining comprehensive payroll records and providing employee support with wage or direct deposit inquiries are essential duties.

Additional responsibilities cover handling leave management such as vacation, sick, emergency leave, disciplinary actions, increments, promotions, and training development. The specialist will also manage settlement processes related to employee resignation, termination, contract non-renewal, and retirement, while ensuring all payroll activities comply with applicable Saudi labor and tax regulations.

Recording project labor costs and related expenses is another important aspect, assisting the organization in budgeting and cost monitoring.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of payroll experience within an oil and gas contracting company.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with payroll software such as ZenHR.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to join within 10 days of selection.
