Planning Engineer Required

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning and Baseline Development

Lead the preparation of project baseline schedules for newly awarded EPC projects using Primavera P6.

Develop detailed manpower and equipment histograms to support efficient resource planning.

Oversee the full project lifecycle, including design, mobilization, execution, and final handover or demobilization.

2. Progress Monitoring and Performance Reporting

Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports (DPR, WPR, MPR), supported by clear executive dashboards.

Monitor site progress against the approved baseline, identify variances, and recommend practical mitigation or recovery actions.

Develop recovery or crash schedules when required to maintain or restore project timelines.

3. Financial and Contractual Management

Establish and manage project budgets while advising management on cost control and optimization strategies.

Reduce financial losses by controlling idle manpower hours and equipment downtime.

Manage the project billing process, including preparation and submission of interim and final invoices.

Lead the preparation and submission of Extension of Time (EOT) claims, including detailed delay analysis and supporting justification.

Identify, evaluate, and process change orders and variation orders arising from scope modifications.

4. Project Execution and Coordination

Coordinate closely with Project Management, Construction, Procurement, and Quality Control teams to ensure alignment across all functions.

Supervise site activities to ensure compliance with the approved baseline schedule and defined project scope.

Required Sector Experience

Candidates should demonstrate proven experience in:

Residential , Pipeline construction or infrastructure projects

Civil Works ,Earthworks and site preparation

Road construction and civil works

EPC building projects (industrial and commercial)
