Job Overview

We are looking for a qualified Safety Officer approved by Saudi Aramco to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enforcing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards in line with Saudi Aramco’s strict safety regulations. This role involves conducting site inspections, hazard identification, reporting incidents, and promoting a proactive safety culture on the project site.

Key Responsibilities

The Safety Officer will play a critical role in maintaining a safe work environment by:

• Ensuring full compliance with Saudi Aramco HSE policies and relevant project regulations.
• Carrying out daily safety inspections and risk assessments across the site.
• Monitoring ongoing activities to enforce safe practices and proper use of safety equipment.
• Investigating incidents, accidents, or near misses and preparing detailed reports for management review.
• Leading toolbox talks and conducting safety awareness training sessions.
• Verifying that all permits, safety gear, and emergency preparedness protocols meet required standards.
• Collaborating closely with project management and client representatives on all safety-related matters.

Requirements

• Valid Saudi Aramco Safety Officer approval is mandatory.
• Original and attested educational certificates, including graduation documents.
• Possession of original NEBOSH certification and valid BLS & First Aid cards.
• Hands-on experience working on construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Solid understanding of Saudi Aramco safety procedures and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.

Employment Terms

This position operates under the Ajeer Contract system, which means there is no sponsorship transfer, Iqama, or Kafala transfer involved. The candidate will remain under their current sponsor but will work legally through Ajeer. Salary and benefits will be discussed with candidates who meet the qualification criteria.
