Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager specializing in the fit-out and construction industry. This role focuses on identifying and securing new projects while expanding the client base to help meet the company’s ambitious revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Source new business opportunities within the fit-out and construction markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, clients, and developers.
- Monitor and manage the tender pipeline to maximize project acquisition.
- Attend client meetings and site visits to assess project scope.
- Convert prospects into signed contracts, ensuring revenue targets are achieved.
- Develop persuasive proposals and presentations aligned with client requirements.
- Contribute to pricing strategies and lead contract negotiations to close deals successfully.
- Track market trends, analyze competitor activities, and identify growth sectors such as retail, offices, and hospitality.
- Maintain an up-to-date client relationship management (CRM) system and cultivate strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate closely with estimation and technical teams to support accurate tender submissions.
- Oversee project progress post-award to ensure consistent delivery and client satisfaction.
Performance Targets
- Secure annual revenue of at least 10 million SAR.
- Close between 8 and 12 projects each year.
- Acquire a minimum of 6 new clients annually.
- Achieve a tender success rate of 25% or higher.
- Maintain a project pipeline valued at three times the target revenue.
- Conduct at least 15 client meetings monthly.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary package for this position ranges from 7,000 to 9,000 SAR, payable upon meeting designated job milestones. On top of the base salary, you will earn a commission of 1% to 2% on the value of secured contracts. Surpassing annual targets offers an additional bonus of 0.5% on the revenue exceeding goals. For example, securing 10 million SAR annually could result in total monthly earnings around 20,000 SAR, combining salary and commission.
