Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Lead Scheduling Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scheduling engineering and project management, with a preference for expertise in the oil and gas sector. This role demands a strategic mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to coordinate project timelines and resources effectively.

Key Responsibilities

The Lead Scheduling Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining critical project schedules. Key duties include:

• Creating baseline critical path schedules to ensure project timelines are clearly defined
• Planning, updating, and tracking schedule risks to mitigate potential delays
• Developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to organize project deliverables
• Monitoring project progress through regular schedule reporting tools
• Collaborating closely with construction teams and other stakeholders to align schedules with on-site activities

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this position, candidates should possess the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree in General Engineering or a related field
• At least 7 years of professional experience in scheduling engineering and project management
• Advanced knowledge of scheduling techniques and project management principles
• Strong analytical abilities to assess and manage schedule performance
• Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
• Experience working with Schedule Performance Index (SPI) or similar project performance metrics
