Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Officer to join a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company in the United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in safety management, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and promoting a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

The HSE Officer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining health and safety protocols across the company operations. This role includes conducting risk assessments, monitoring workplace safety practices, investigating incidents, and ensuring alignment with local safety laws and international standards. The officer will also support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety and environmental policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Between 2 to 4 years of proven experience in health and safety roles, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• Must hold a valid UAE driving license to facilitate site visits and inspections.
• NEBOSH certification is mandatory, demonstrating a thorough understanding of occupational health and safety.
• Bachelor’s degree in Technology or a related discipline.
• Experience with ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management systems is highly desirable.
