Job Overview

We are inviting applications for two skilled BIM Coordinator (MEP) positions based at the site office in Riyadh. This full-time, on-site role is offered on a six-month renewable contract, depending on project needs. The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing BIM coordination for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines on a major infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead the BIM coordination for all MEP systems, ensuring seamless collaboration and adherence to BIM standards. Your duties include mentoring BIM engineers and modelers, developing and maintaining the BIM Execution Plan and modeling guidelines, and directing clash detection processes using Navisworks to resolve design conflicts. You will also conduct thorough QA audits of the digital models, manage Common Data Environment workflows (using Aconex), and deliver coordinated documentation. Providing technical support to on-site teams by updating as-built models, responding to RFIs, and generating clear technical drawings will be critical aspects of your work.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidates will have 8 to 10 years of professional experience in BIM coordination or MEP modeling on significant infrastructure or commercial projects. A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field is essential. Proficiency in Navisworks Manage, Revit, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Construction Cloud platforms (Docs and Collaborate Pro) is required, along with strong technical knowledge of MEP systems and installation methods. Proven leadership capabilities in managing BIM teams, combined with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, are necessary. Candidates must be available to work full-time on-site in Riyadh.

Preferred Qualifications

Applicants who hold a Certified BIM Professional (CBP) credential or similar certification will be highly regarded. Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects within the Middle East and familiarity with Saudi Arabian building codes and standards will be advantageous. Additional experience with other Common Data Environment platforms such as Trimble Connect or Autodesk ACC can give candidates a competitive edge.
