Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Safety Officer who holds Saudi Aramco approval to join our team on a key project in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enforcing health, safety, and environmental standards in accordance with Saudi Aramco’s strict regulations. This role plays a vital part in maintaining a safe working environment by conducting inspections, identifying risks, and ensuring full compliance with local and company safety policies.

Key Responsibilities

The Safety Officer will be accountable for overseeing daily safety operations at the site, including:

• Ensuring full adherence to Saudi Aramco HSE requirements as well as project-specific safety regulations.
• Conducting comprehensive site safety inspections and risk assessments every day.
• Monitoring ongoing work to enforce safe practices and prevent hazards.
• Investigating all incidents, accidents, and near misses, and providing detailed reports.
• Leading toolbox talks and delivering safety awareness training sessions to all personnel.
• Verifying the validity of work permits and the adequacy of safety equipment and emergency readiness.
• Collaborating closely with project management and client representatives regarding safety issues and compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• Valid Saudi Aramco Safety Officer Approval certification.
• Original educational certificates, including Matriculation, Intermediate, and Graduation degrees, all MOFA attested.
• Relevant industry safety certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, BLS, and First Aid—only original documents will be accepted.
• Practical experience in construction, industrial, or infrastructure project environments.
• A deep understanding of Saudi Aramco safety standards and procedures.
• Strong communication skills to prepare safety reports and conduct safety training effectively.

Employment Terms

This job is offered under the Ajeer Contract system. Candidates should note that:

• No sponsorship or Iqama transfer (Kafala transfer) is required or provided.
• The employee will remain under their existing sponsor and legally work through the Ajeer system.
• Monthly salary and additional benefits will be discussed with candidates who meet the qualification criteria.
