Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Safety Officer to join our team in Dammam and Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on implementing and overseeing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies on site, ensuring strict compliance with Saudi regulations and client standards. The position is open exclusively to Indian and Bengali nationals with a solid background in industrial construction or oil and gas pipeline projects.

Key Responsibilities

The Safety Officer will be responsible for conducting thorough site safety inspections and audits, delivering essential safety inductions and toolbox talks, and supervising the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe work environment. Key duties include investigating incidents promptly and preparing detailed reports to support continuous safety improvements, as well as ensuring the safe execution of construction and pipeline activities according to established safety procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should hold a diploma or degree in Engineering, Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline. A NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is highly desirable. Applicants must have between three to five years of relevant experience working in airport, oil and gas, pipeline projects, or industrial construction settings. A thorough understanding of Permit to Work (PTW) systems, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), risk assessments, and HSE regulations is essential. Strong communication and reporting abilities are also required to effectively handle safety documentation and site coordination.
