Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Testing and Commissioning (T&C) Engineer to join our team in Yunbu, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering with extensive experience in substation systems, protection relays, and power system testing and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves overseeing and executing testing and commissioning activities on electrical substations and associated equipment. The engineer will ensure all work complies with relevant IEC standards and client specifications. Duties include troubleshooting system issues, conducting detailed reports, and coordinating with project teams to ensure timely and safe project completion.

Required Skills

• In-depth understanding of IEC standards, especially IEC 61850.
• Hands-on experience with substation automation systems and protection relays.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum 5 to 10 years of proven experience in electrical testing and commissioning within substations and power systems.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and quality assurance standards related to electrical installations.
