Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to join a dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time, on-site position is ideal for professionals passionate about maintaining high health and safety standards in the construction sector. The role involves ensuring compliance with industry regulations and fostering a safe working environment across project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures to maintain workplace safety.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety training sessions to educate and engage the workforce on best safety practices.
• Prepare detailed incident and accident reports, including investigations to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian regulations along with client-specific HSE standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma in Industrial Safety or Health & Safety, with a strong preference for candidates holding a NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC).
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar safety role, ideally within the construction industry.
• Proficient understanding of Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), confined space entry, and hot work safety procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with site personnel and management.
