Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Project Director with extensive expertise in façade systems to oversee major façade projects for high-rise and multi-story buildings. This leadership role demands deep knowledge of façade engineering, project management, construction processes, and team coordination to ensure the smooth execution of projects from initial design through to installation and final handover, delivering on quality, safety, budget, and timeline goals.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be tasked with directing multiple façade projects, including commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments featuring high-rise towers. Responsibilities include managing all phases such as planning, engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, and project closeout. The Project Director will lead project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and various stakeholders to meet project targets.

Other core duties consist of reviewing and approving project schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and risk management strategies. The role requires ensuring full compliance with technical specifications, contracts, local regulations, and industry standards.

Collaborating closely with architects, structural engineers, main contractors, and clients to provide façade design and technical solutions is essential. The Project Director will monitor progress, uphold quality standards, enforce safety compliance, and resolve any technical, commercial, or operational challenges encountered during project execution. Regular reporting of project status to senior management and clients is also a key part of this role.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 15 years of proven experience in the façade industry, with significant exposure to managing complex high-rise and multi-story building projects.
• In-depth knowledge of curtain wall systems, unitized and stick façade systems, cladding, glass and aluminum façades, skylights, and architectural metal works.
• Strong leadership skills combined with excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities.
• Solid understanding of project planning, budgeting, contract management, and construction techniques.
• Proficiency in project management software and engineering documentation.
• Capability to successfully manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams concurrently.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification or an equivalent project management qualification.
• Experience in façade projects within the GCC or wider Middle East region.
• Sound commercial insight and contractual understanding.
• Background working on landmark developments, iconic skyscrapers, or large-scale tower projects.
