Job Overview

We are actively seeking a seasoned Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to oversee safety operations for a major Oil & Gas cross-country pipeline construction project based in Saudi Arabia. This role requires a minimum of 12 to 13 years of comprehensive HSE experience, specifically in pipeline construction within the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all HSE aspects throughout the pipeline construction phases. This includes developing and enforcing HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs that align with project goals and regulatory standards. You will champion a culture of safety excellence and continuous improvement, conducting audits, thorough risk assessments, and compliance checks regularly. Providing technical support, coaching, and mentoring to project teams will be essential, along with preparing detailed HSE performance reports and statistical analyses for management review and client communication.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• Hold mandatory certifications such as NEBOSH and IOSH.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, OSHA standards, and risk assessment techniques.
• Proven track record in managing HSE systems specific to cross-country pipeline construction projects.
• Expertise in conducting safety audits, inspections, emergency response planning, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Strong skills in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Lead Auditor Certification is highly desirable.
• Experience working on Saudi Aramco pipeline projects would be an advantage.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to manage teams effectively in dynamic project environments.
