Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to drive the growth and expansion of our fuel additives and wash oil business primarily within Saudi Arabia, with potential opportunities across the IMEA region. This role plays a crucial part in strengthening our market leadership by targeting key strategic sites and expanding business activities in a competitive industry valued at over $30 million annually.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will develop, own, and execute sales strategies and site-specific strategic sales plans to effectively penetrate the Saudi market. Collaborating closely with regional sales managers, field teams, service organizations, and technology committees, you will lead sales activities, track progress against targets, and cultivate high-level relationships. Gathering and interpreting competitive intelligence will be essential for maintaining market advantage. Other duties include managing tender processes, ensuring commercial viability, and utilizing company resources to meet growth objectives.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or petroleum science, with an associate degree also considered.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in fuel additives, chemicals, and specialty chemicals within the oil and gas sector, ideally in business development roles.
• Proven experience working with National Oil Companies in the region.
• Strong understanding of political, social, and cultural factors impacting the market.
• Exceptional organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple projects, and a proactive, self-driven approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with aptitude for networking and stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and related office tools.

• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and compliance with company and customer safety protocols.
• Effective planning and time management abilities to meet business demands.
• Strong computer literacy, including MS Project and Outlook.
• Ability to engage with personnel across various organizational levels.
