Mark & Save Careers is seeking a qualified Safety Officer to join our dedicated Talent Management Team at our Head Office located in Ajman, UAE. This role is crucial in promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture across our Stores, Distribution Centers (DC), and DCRC locations throughout the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing workplace safety measures and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Your duties will include conducting risk assessments, implementing safety protocols, investigating incidents, and delivering comprehensive safety training aligned with NEBOSH standards. Your role is vital to minimizing workplace incidents and guaranteeing that all employees return home safely each day.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in workplace safety, preferably within retail or logistics sectors.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and training skills to effectively promote a safety-first culture.
• Ability to manage safety programs across multiple sites within the UAE.

Work Environment and Location

This position is based in Ajman with responsibilities that extend to overseeing workplace safety in several locations throughout the UAE. You will be part of a dynamic team that integrates safety into daily operations and corporate culture, ensuring a secure working environment for all employees.
