Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Civil 3D Engineer to join our team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on designing and drafting infrastructure projects such as roads, drainage systems, grading, and utility layouts using AutoCAD Civil 3D. The successful candidate will ensure that all designs comply with project specifications and regulatory standards while working closely with project managers and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

The Civil 3D Engineer will be responsible for creating and modifying surface models, alignments, profiles, and corridor models. You will prepare detailed plans, sections, and drawings in line with project requirements, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain design compatibility, and perform quality checks to guarantee accuracy. Additionally, you will implement design revisions based on feedback and resolve technical challenges during the design and construction phases. Supporting junior designers and keeping meticulous project documentation are also essential duties.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate should have at least five years of experience in civil engineering design and drafting, particularly with AutoCAD Civil 3D. A solid understanding of civil engineering principles and relevant standards such as AASHTO is crucial. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment are essential, along with excellent organizational abilities and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

Candidates are expected to hold an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline. Proven proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiarity with design codes and standards will ensure success in this role.
