Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join a reputable company in the Motor Technology and Automotive sector based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is open to candidates locally available in Saudi Arabia, specifically Pakistani or Indian nationals. The role involves managing various accounting functions, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will be responsible for recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions following established accounting standards. Key duties include preparing accurate financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. The role also encompasses managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements and ledger accounts, and ensuring compliance with Saudi tax laws including VAT and withholding tax. Additionally, the Accountant will assist in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, support audit activities, and maintain thorough documentation. Collaboration with other departments to gather financial data and improve financial controls is also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. While professional certifications like ACCA, CPA, or CMA are advantageous, they are not mandatory. Candidates must have between two to five years of relevant accounting experience, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in ERP accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are important. A solid knowledge of Saudi VAT and local tax practices is required to effectively handle statutory obligations.

Salary and Benefits

This position offers a competitive gross monthly salary ranging between SAR 4,000 and SAR 5,500, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits will be provided in accordance with Saudi labor law.
