A reputable contracting company based in Jeddah is looking to hire a skilled Civil Draftsman specialized in shop drawings for immediate placement. This position focuses on producing detailed civil engineering drawings, essential for smooth project execution in infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing precise civil shop drawings, including earthworks, asphalt laying, concrete works, and infrastructure components. Extracting crucial details from issued for construction (IFC) drawings and project specifications will be a core part of the role. Close coordination with site engineers to ensure timely updates and corrections in drawings is required. Additionally, preparing accurate as-built drawings reflecting site progress and revisions is essential.

Required Skills

• Proven expertise in creating civil shop drawings related to roads, grading, concrete, and infrastructure projects.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Strong ability to interpret and develop shop drawings from IFC documentation.
• Good understanding of the onsite execution processes and coordination with field teams.
• Experience in preparing as-built drawings and handling drawing revisions.

Requirements

• The candidate must currently be residing in Saudi Arabia to be considered for this role.
