​RESIDENT ENGINEER / PROJECT MANAGER
​Role Description
​Oversee the overall performance of consultancy supervision services across assigned projects.
​Ensure project completion on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
​Provide leadership in project planning, scheduling, and execution using tools like MS Project or Primavera.
​Conduct regular progress meetings with engineers, contractors, and clients, ensuring alignment on project goals.
​Maintain effective document control and general administrative processes.
​Manage risk and issue logs, and drive resolution processes.
​Act as the primary interface with external stakeholders, including end-users, asset owners, contractors, consultants, utility providers, and government authorities.
​Assist in the evaluation of contractor change requests, claims, and contractual issues.
​Lead critical discussions and negotiations to resolve project challenges effectively.
​Qualifications
​Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
​At least 15 years of experience in project supervision and execution, with a minimum of 10 years in a Resident Engineer or Project Manager role, overseeing at least 2 construction projects in the UAE.
​Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera).
​PMP and PQP certifications are advantageous.
​Strong leadership, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
​Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
​Thorough understanding of Abu Dhabi regulations, authorities’ requirements, and local construction standards.
