Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Director specializing in Master Planning to lead urban and infrastructural development projects in Riyadh. The successful candidate will oversee the comprehensive planning of the city’s existing and future infrastructural zones, ensuring they meet both immediate and long-term growth demands. This senior role involves coordinating city-wide facilities planning, including housing, commercial, educational, and recreational infrastructure to support a growing urban environment.

Key Responsibilities

In this leadership position, you will manage and direct all phases of urban planning initiatives from conception through completion. Your expertise will guide multidisciplinary teams to design and implement master plans that align with city development goals. Presenting complex industrial and urban planning concepts to senior management, government entities, and external stakeholders will be a critical part of your role. You will ensure collaborative efforts across various planning disciplines to achieve successful project outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning or a related field.
• At least 20 years of professional experience in Urban and Master Planning, especially with mixed-use developments and critical infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, coordinate, and oversee comprehensive planning projects independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience presenting and communicating complex design and planning solutions to senior clients and government agencies.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite, along with familiarity with various urban and environmental planning tools.
• Membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to produce detailed reports and presentations.
• International planning experience is considered an advantage.
