HSE / Safety Officer
Project Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Employment Type: Project / Rental Basis
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive HSE / Safety Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure that all safety policies, procedures, and regulations are implemented effectively across our operations. This role is critical in maintaining a safe, compliant, and high?performance work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct daily site inspections and ensure compliance with company HSE policies
– Identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions
– Lead toolbox talks, safety orientations, and awareness sessions
– Monitor permit-to-work systems and ensure proper documentation
– Participate in incident/accident investigations and prepare reports
– Support emergency response planning and drills
– Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors to enforce safety standards
– Maintain accurate records of inspections, trainings, and safety observations
Qualifications:
– NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certification (required)
– Minimum 5-7 years experience in HSE roles (construction or industrial preferred) inside Saudi Arabia
– Excellent communication and reporting skills
– Ability to work in multicultural environments
– Willing to work on rental basis
– Must be available in Riyadh only
