Senior Estimator – Interior Fit-Outs

Responsibilities:
– Prepare and submit accurate and timely cost estimates for interior fit-out projects.
– Conduct thorough analysis of project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive quantity take-offs.
– Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for cost estimation.
– Monitor project progress and costs, identifying and addressing potential cost overruns or savings opportunities.
– Review and analyze project contracts, identifying and addressing any potential risks or discrepancies.
– Participate in negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
– Prepare and maintain accurate records of project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment expenses.
– Assist in the preparation of project budgets and forecasts, providing valuable input on cost-related matters.
– Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess progress and ensure compliance with cost and quality standards.

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
– Minimum of 8-10 years Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator in the interior fit-out industry, with a strong track record of successful project cost management in GCC.
– In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes specific to interior fit-out projects.
– Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools, with the ability to perform accurate take-offs and cost calculations.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
– Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with the capacity to build effective relationships with project stakeholders and suppliers.
– Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and precision in cost estimation and documentation.
– Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual requirements.
– Professional certification or membership in relevant industry associations is a plus.
