Project Engineer Required

We need a project engineer for our contracting company in Abqaiq Eastern Region

The individual will be responsible for planning, supervising, and executing maintenance, inspection, and repair activities related to piping systems and structural steel works within operating oil & gas facilities. The role ensures asset integrity, compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, and safe execution of all activities. The role including but not limited to sand blasting, coating, sleeve welding, flange welding, could cutting, torquing, hydrotesting and spool replacement? in oil & gas facilities ensures doing the requirement, safety, and compliance with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards and HSE regulations’

Key Responsibilities

Piping Maintenance & Integrity

??????????????? •???????????? Supervise inspection and maintenance of:

??????????????? •???????????? Process piping systems

??????????????? •???????????? Utility pipelines (water, air, nitrogen, firewater)

??????????????? •???????????? Aboveground and underground pipelines

??????????????? •???????????? Monitor corrosion, erosion, and mechanical damage.

??????????????? •???????????? Ensure proper pipe supports, anchors, guides, and spring hanger’s condition.

Steel Structure Maintenance

??????????????? •???????????? Inspect and maintain:

??????????????? •???????????? Pipe racks

??????????????? •???????????? Equipment platforms

??????????????? •???????????? Access ladders and stairways

??????????????? ?????????????? Structural support for vessels and piping
??????????????? •???????????? Identify structural defects (corrosion, deformation, loose bolts, coating? failure).

??????????????? •???????????? Supervise structural repair, strengthening, and bolt replacement.

??????????????? •???????????? Ensure proper grating installation and handrail integrity.

Corrosion Control & Coating

??????????????? •???????????? Coordinate blasting and painting activities.

??????????????? •???????????? Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco coating standards.

??????????????? •???????????? Review coating inspection reports and DFT measurements.

Inspection & Reliability

??????????????? •???????????? Support RBI (Risk-Based Inspection) programs.

??????????????? •???????????? Participate in root cause failure analysis (RCFA).

??????????????? •???????????? Review inspection reports and implement corrective actions.

Compliance & Standards

??????????????? •???????????? Ensure compliance with:

??????????????? •???????????? Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES)

??????????????? •???????????? Materials System Specifications (SAMSS)

????????????? •????????????? Follow Saudi Aramco Work Permit System and HSE procedures.

Planning & Coordination

??????????????? Coordinate operations, inspection, and other maintenance disciplines.

??????????????? •???????????? Review contractor method statements and ITPs.

??????????????? •???????????? Prepare work orders, material requisitions, and spare parts lists.

??????????????? •???????????? Support shutdown and turnaround activities.

Qualifications

??????????????? •???????????? Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

??????????????? •???????????? Minimum 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas maintenance.

??????????????? •???????????? Experience in Saudi Aramco projects preferred.
