Job Vacancy – Procurement Engineer
SAFELCO Co. Ltd. is currently looking to hire a Procurement Engineer to join our team. We are seeking a proactive professional with strong experience in procurement within construction or project-based environments.
About the Role
The Procurement Engineer will be responsible for managing the procurement process for project materials, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for project materials and equipment
• Prepare and process purchase orders in line with project requirements
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best value
• Coordinate with project, engineering, and site teams to understand material requirements
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery to project sites
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement
• Experience in construction companies or project procurement
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Ability to manage purchase orders and material supply for projects
• Good knowledge of computer applications and procurement systems
