Maintenance Engineer Required

Description

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that machinery, equipment, and facilities operate efficiently and safely. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and continuous improvement to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines, equipment, and utilities

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults

Carry out routine inspections to identify potential issues

Respond quickly to breakdowns and emergency repairs

Maintain maintenance logs, reports, and checklists

Coordinate with production/operations teams to reduce downtime

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards

Supervise technicians or contractors when required

Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment

Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability

Skills & Competencies

Bachelor’s degree ior master degree n Mechanical, Electrical, or Maintenance Engineering

10 years of experience in maintenance (industry- specific)

Relevant certifications are an added advantage
