Junior Purchase Officer Required

Description

We are looking for a core purchase professional with strong experience in procurement for F&B and QSR operations. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing food ingredients, packaging materials, kitchen supplies, and other operational items while ensuring cost efficiency, quality standards, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage procurement of food ingredients, packaging materials, and restaurant supplies.
Identify and develop reliable suppliers and vendors for F&B products.
Request and evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate pricing.
Prepare and process purchase orders (POs).
Ensure timely delivery of products to warehouses and outlets.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with operations teams to avoid shortages.
Maintain supplier relationships and vendor performance records.
Ensure all purchased items meet quality and safety standards for food operations.
Track market prices of food commodities and packaging materials.
Maintain accurate procurement documentation and reports.
Required Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
5–6 years of experience in purchasing for F&B or QSR industry.
Good knowledge of food supply chains and restaurant operations.
Experience dealing with food suppliers, packaging vendors, and kitchen equipment providers.

Required Skills:

Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
Good knowledge of F&B procurement processes
Ability to control costs and manage purchasing budgets
Strong communication and coordination skills
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel

Preferred Experience:

Experience working with restaurant chains or QSR brands.
Knowledge of local food suppliers and distributors.
