Job Title: Food Safety Officer (FSO) and Only Philippines and Indian.
Job Summary: A Food Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring that food products meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards from production to consumption. They inspect food establishments, enforce food laws, investigate complaints, and promote safe food-handling practices to protect public health.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inspection and Compliance
• Conduct regular inspections of food manufacturing units, restaurants, markets, and storage facilities.
• Ensure compliance with food safety laws, hygiene standards, and labeling regulations.
• Identify violations and issue notices or corrective actions when required.
• Collect food and water samples for laboratory testing.
2. Enforcement and Investigation • Investigate foodborne illness outbreaks and consumer complaints. • Initiate legal action against offenders under relevant food safety acts.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, violations, and outcomes.
3. Education and Training
•Conduct awareness programs and training for food handlers and businesses.
• Advise management and staff on good manufacturing and hygiene practices (GMP/GHP). 4. Documentation and Reporting
• Prepare reports, inspection summaries, and investigation documentation.
•Maintain updated knowledge of national and local food safety regulations.
•Collaborate with laboratories, public health authorities, and food industry stakeholders.

• Deep knowledge of food safety laws (e.g., FSSAI in India, FDA/USDA codes in the U.S.)
