Job Overview

We are looking for a dependable IT Operations Technician to join our team in Bahrain. This role focuses on supporting daily IT operations, managing infrastructure, and providing timely resolutions for technical challenges. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring reliable IT service delivery and maintaining system stability across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for offering first- and second-level support for hardware, software, and networking issues. Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining computers, printers, and other IT devices. You will monitor network and server performance to maintain uptime and swiftly troubleshoot issues. Managing user accounts, permissions, and access also form part of the daily tasks. Additionally, you will assist in updating IT documentation, keeping inventory records, and coordinating with vendors for repairs and maintenance. Regular system updates, patches, backups, and ensuring compliance with security policies are essential duties. Supporting infrastructure projects and IT upgrades will also be part of your role.

Required Skills and Experience

Applicants should have a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields. Experience ranging from two to four years in IT support or operations roles is necessary. A solid understanding of Windows and Linux environments is required, along with basic networking knowledge including LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP. Troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and peripheral devices are critical. Familiarity with IT service management platforms like ticketing systems is an advantage. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities will help you thrive in this position. Candidates must currently reside in Bahrain and be ready to start immediately.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in multi-site or enterprise IT environments is highly valued. Knowledge of fundamental cybersecurity principles and endpoint protection tools will benefit applicants. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration is a plus, along with recognized IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+. The ability to perform well under pressure while managing multiple incidents simultaneously is important for success in this role.
