Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Assessor to join our team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role involves evaluating the competency of operators handling various heavy machinery to ensure safety and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring extensive industrial experience along with a strong background in training and assessment.

Key Responsibilities

The Heavy Equipment Assessor will be responsible for performing thorough assessments of operator skills and knowledge, specifically in the use of heavy equipment, cranes, and rigging. Additional duties include developing and refining both written and practical assessment tools, conducting detailed analysis of assessment results, mentoring team members, supporting quality assurance audits, and contributing to policy and procedure development. Maintaining compliance with the Energy Tech Heavy Equipment Certifications Unit policies is also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years’ industrial experience relevant to heavy equipment operations.
• At least 3 years of experience as a trainer or instructor.
• Experience of 3 years in assessment roles, preferably in technical fields.
• Technical qualifications or a diploma related to heavy equipment operation or rigging.
• Certification in areas including but not limited to backhoe, bulldozer, forklift, wheel loader, backhoe loader, cranes, and rigging.
• Fluency in English, with strong reading and writing skills.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Possession of an Assessor Award Qualification from a recognized awarding body is preferred.
