To maintain our commitment to quality and excellence, we are looking for a skilled Food & Beverage Procurement Officer. This role focuses on managing the procurement of fresh ingredients and essential restaurant supplies while ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality food and beverage products as well as other restaurant essentials. This includes identifying trustworthy vendors, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. The role also involves monitoring inventory levels closely, coordinating with kitchen and operations teams to avoid shortages, and ensuring timely deliveries. Maintaining thorough procurement records and evaluating supplier performance to guarantee compliance with quality benchmarks is essential. Cost control without compromising product quality and staying informed on market trends and pricing are also key duties.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Prior experience as a Procurement Officer within the hospitality or fine dining industry is highly preferred. Strong negotiation and communication skills are crucial to effectively manage suppliers and internal teams. A solid understanding of food quality standards along with proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office tools is expected. The candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in luxury or high-end dining establishments is advantageous, as is familiarity with both national and international suppliers of premium ingredients. Such background will help ensure sourcing meets the elevated expectations of a fine dining setting.
