Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate maintenance activities for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and civil works within facilities in Jeddah. This role involves ensuring buildings and systems are maintained efficiently, handling emergency repairs, and managing maintenance teams to uphold quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for daily supervision of maintenance personnel, preparing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules, and ensuring timely corrective repairs. The role involves close coordination with contractors and suppliers, approving completed works, and monitoring adherence to specifications. Preparing detailed reports on building conditions, malfunctions, and maintenance costs is essential. Managing spare parts inventory and ordering necessary supplies also falls under this role. Maintaining compliance with occupational safety regulations and collaborating with property management to address tenant concerns are key duties. This supervisor will also participate in the handover process for new projects to ensure operational readiness and maintenance standards are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance
• Strong knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) building systems
• Competency in computer applications and experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Leadership abilities with effective team management skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring safety

Work Environment

The role requires a mix of fieldwork and office tasks. Overtime might be necessary during emergency situations to ensure prompt resolution of maintenance issues.
