Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Lead Discipline Electrical Engineer specializing in Cathodic Protection to join a dynamic team in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia. This role requires an expert engineer with solid experience in downstream oil and gas projects, particularly those associated with Saudi Aramco standards. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and protection of electrical infrastructure in line with Aramco’s stringent requirements.
Key Responsibilities
As the Lead Electrical Engineer, you will oversee and manage cathodic protection systems within the scope of Saudi Aramco’s downstream projects. Your duties will include:
- Designing and implementing cathodic protection solutions to protect pipelines and infrastructure.
- Ensuring compliance with Saudi Aramco standards including SAEP, SAMS, and SAE.
- Leading project teams and coordinating with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Reviewing and approving technical documents, designs, and installation procedures.
- Monitoring system performance and providing technical expertise during commissioning and operation phases.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- More than 10 years of relevant professional experience, specifically with cathodic protection systems.
- Extensive knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards and engineering procedures (SAEP, SAMS, SAE).
- Proven track record of working on Saudi Aramco projects.
- Experience in downstream oil and gas, including production of refined fuels and petrochemicals from stabilized crude oil and compressed gas.
- Strong leadership abilities and effective communication skills.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to join within a 30-day notice period.
- Open to candidates of any nationality.
- Available for a one-year contract with the possibility of extension.
- Location: Rabigh, Saudi Arabia.
