Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a skilled QC Technician to join a reputable company based in Saudi Arabia. This role suits candidates with hands-on experience in mechanical workshops or machining shops who are adept at quality control processes and mechanical inspections.

Key Responsibilities

The QC Technician will be responsible for inspecting components, ensuring compliance with mechanical specifications, and maintaining quality standards within the machining environment. The role requires accurate measurement of parts, calibration of instruments, and thorough documentation according to ISO standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years experience working in machining shops, mechanical workshops, or mechanical quality control roles.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, including views, sections, and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) according to ISO 1101 and ASME Y14.5 standards.
• Practical experience using measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, gauges, plug and ring gauges.
• Solid understanding of metrology principles such as measurement uncertainty, repeatability, reproducibility (R&R), and traceability.
• Knowledge in managing calibration processes aligned with ISO 9001 quality management system.

Important Note

Applicants with experience solely in the Oil & Gas sector are not considered suitable for this role.
