Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Medical Equipment Engineer to join a leading healthcare facility in Riyadh. This role is ideal for Filipino nationals with a background in biomedical or clinical engineering, focused on ensuring the safe, efficient operation and maintenance of medical devices and technologies within healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities

The Medical Equipment Engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, routine maintenance, repair, and calibration of medical equipment. This includes performing preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and responding promptly to emergency repair calls. The role also involves managing inventory of spare parts and documenting all service activities through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to maintain high standards of equipment reliability and safety.

Responsibilities Include

• Conducting inspections and commissioning of new medical equipment and technologies.
• Executing planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and corrective repairs on medical devices.
• Calibrating equipment to ensure precision and compliance with health facility operational standards.
• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues using specialized testing tools.
• Maintaining detailed records of maintenance and repair activities in CMMS or equipment databases.
• Participating in quality assurance rounds to assess equipment safety and functionality while addressing user concerns.
• Responding to urgent repair requests, including on-call support beyond regular working hours.
• Overseeing spare parts inventory, ensuring availability for timely maintenance and repairs.
• Ensuring all maintenance procedures comply with safety regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and industry standards.
• Effectively communicating with clinical staff regarding repair statuses and equipment issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in installation and maintenance of medical equipment, either locally or internationally.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office and experience with CMMS software.
• Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English to coordinate effectively with clinical teams and management.
