Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer with expertise in MEP design and supervision to join our team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems, overseeing mechanical work on site, and ensuring high-quality project delivery in line with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will take charge of several vital duties, including:

• Designing mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection to meet project specifications and standards.
• Preparing detailed drawings, calculations, and submission documents required for project approval and execution.
• Supervising and inspecting mechanical work on-site to maintain quality and compliance with design standards.
• Coordinating efficiently with contractors, consultants, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project progress.
• Performing testing and commissioning activities and producing comprehensive reports along with operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and have 5 to 8 years of practical experience in MEP projects. Key requirements include:

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant mechanical design software such as HAP and Carrier.
• Familiarity with Bahrain’s local regulations and authority approvals relevant to mechanical engineering projects.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
