Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Automobile Workshop Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a busy vehicle maintenance workshop based in Jubail. The successful candidate will lead a team of mechanics and technicians, ensuring all repair and servicing tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

As the workshop supervisor, you will be responsible for managing all workshop activities including vehicle inspections, repairs, and routine maintenance. You will allocate work assignments based on the skill levels and availability of your team members, monitor the completion of jobs, and provide technical support for diagnosing complex mechanical issues.

Your role also includes maintaining accurate service records, tracking spare parts and equipment inventory, enforcing preventive maintenance schedules, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Close coordination with management is required to meet operational needs and maintain vehicle readiness. Additionally, you will train and mentor workshop staff to enhance overall productivity and quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 to 7 years’ experience in vehicle maintenance and workshop operations.
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years in a supervisory capacity within an automobile workshop environment.
• Strong expertise in vehicle diagnostics, repair, and maintenance procedures across cars, pickup trucks, and light commercial vehicles.
• Proven leadership abilities and effective team management skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical vehicle problems efficiently.
• Good knowledge of workshop safety standards and best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing fleet vehicle maintenance programs.
• Familiarity with modern diagnostic tools and workshop technologies.
• Basic computer literacy for managing maintenance records and preparing reports.
