Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer with expertise in engineering design for photovoltaic projects, power plants, and booster stations. This role involves working on civil engineering aspects specific to photovoltaic power facilities and substations, primarily within the Saudi Arabian market.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and optimizing civil engineering drawings, managing project schedules, and handling the receipt and dispatch of technical documents such as design files. They will coordinate closely across civil, electrical, and operation and maintenance teams to ensure smooth project delivery. Core duties include overseeing civil construction activities like site leveling, foundation works, support system installation, drainage solutions, and substation civil engineering.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience working on photovoltaic power plants, substations, or related power projects within Saudi Arabia.
• Proficient in CAD and drafting software to independently create and improve civil engineering drawings.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office for project documentation, data management, and reporting.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication abilities.
• Familiarity with civil construction specifications, geological survey standards, and environmental protection policies.
• Understanding of cost control practices to optimize construction expenses.
• Experience in design, construction management, and quality control of civil engineering tasks specific to photovoltaic plants.

Additional Information

The role requires a candidate who can actively reduce costs while ensuring quality and compliance with environmental standards. Prior experience with the coordination between civil and electrical engineering teams as well as operation and maintenance units in photovoltaic projects will be highly valued.
