Job Overview
We are seeking a talented Architectural Engineer to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in guiding projects from initial concept through to final execution. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to architectural designs, site evaluations, and precise project documentation to support efficient planning and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
The Architectural Engineer will be responsible for developing architectural design concepts and producing detailed drawings and plans for diverse projects. Responsibilities include conducting site surveys and feasibility studies, preparing accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), material take-offs, and cost estimates. Collaborating closely with engineers, contractors, and project teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance with regulations is essential. The role also involves assisting with project documentation, obtaining necessary approvals, and updating drawings throughout project phases as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
- Between 3 to 5 years of professional experience in architectural design and site activities.
- Proficient in creating BOQs, conducting quantity take-offs, and a strong understanding of construction materials.
- Advanced skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, MS Office, and 3D rendering software such as Lumion, Enscape, 3ds Max, Corona, or D5 Render.
- Experience performing site inspections and surveys.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities in both English and Arabic.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks and adhere to project deadlines.
- Possession of a valid transferable iqama and a valid driver’s license.
Preferred Experience
- Background working on commercial, residential, or mixed-use development projects.
- Familiarity with construction techniques and finishing details.
- Knowledge of local regulations and submission procedures related to architectural projects.
