Job Overview
Join a reputable and expanding Qatari company that specializes in delivering innovative technology products and system solutions across multiple sectors including Instrumentation, Renewable Energy (Solar and Wind), HVAC, Metering, Process Equipment Skids, Fire & Gas (F&G), Public Address & General Alarm (PAGA), as well as Bolting and Tensioning systems.
This role focuses on capitalizing on the company’s strong presence in the Qatar market, particularly in hazardous area explosion-proof products and systems. The successful candidate will play a vital role in engaging with key stakeholders such as end users, EPC contractors, consultants, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with clients, EPCs, consultants, and OEMs within the oil and gas sector.
- Drive sales efforts for explosion-proof instrumentation and related technology solutions in hazardous environments.
- Collaborate with technical teams and customers to provide tailored product and system solutions that meet industry standards and customer requirements.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the development of sales strategies that support company growth.
- Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to support pre-sales activities and customer inquiries.
Required Skills and Experience
- A proven track record in sales engineering within the oil and gas industry, with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
- Background in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering (EE), or Mechanical Engineering, preferably with experience in hazardous area products.
- Strong market knowledge and established connections within Qatar’s oil and gas sector, especially related to explosion-proof products.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
