Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Inside Technical Sales Specialist to join our expanding team in Bahrain. This role suits candidates who have a solid understanding of industrial and technical products and excel in a dynamic sales environment. You will play a crucial role in managing customer inquiries and driving sales by providing expert technical support and building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling inbound sales inquiries, requests for quotations (RFQs), and customer needs promptly. Preparing detailed quotations and tailored proposals will be a significant part of your role, alongside offering technical clarifications and product recommendations to clients. Coordination with suppliers and principals is essential to confirm pricing and product availability. Maintaining accurate records within the CRM system, supporting the external sales team when necessary, and identifying new business opportunities within your assigned accounts are also key duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications

A technical background in engineering, particularly mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation, is preferred. Previous experience in inside sales, technical sales, or customer support roles is essential to understand product specifications and datasheets effectively. You’ll need strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate and connect well with customers. Being commercially aware and customer-focused is critical. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems is expected, along with excellent organizational skills, proactivity, and attention to detail.

Preferred Experience

Experience in industries such as industrial products, oil and gas, maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO), or technical supplies will be an advantage. The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing multiple quotations and deadlines simultaneously and adept at interacting with both customers and suppliers.
