We are seeking a skilled System Administrator and IT Support Specialist to join our team in Khobar. This role involves overseeing the company’s IT infrastructure, delivering reliable technical assistance to staff, and ensuring the security and efficiency of network systems, servers, and software essential for daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

The role covers a broad range of IT functions including:

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining servers and operating systems to keep business-critical applications running smoothly.
• Managing user accounts and access permissions to maintain secure system environments.
• Monitoring system health to guarantee high performance and uptime.
• Updating systems with patches and upgrades to address vulnerabilities and enhance functionality.
• Providing hands-on technical support to employees by resolving hardware, software, and networking issues efficiently.
• Troubleshooting problems related to computers, printers, network devices, and key applications.
• Setting up new IT hardware such as desktops and laptops to meet user needs.
• Overseeing network management tasks including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks to ensure uninterrupted connectivity.
• Configuring and maintaining routers, switches, and firewall devices.
• Implementing cybersecurity measures by managing antivirus programs, firewalls, and endpoint protection tools to safeguard company data.
• Conducting regular backups and ensuring robust disaster recovery plans are in place and tested.
• Maintaining comprehensive records of IT assets and software licenses in collaboration with procurement.
• Documenting IT procedures, system configurations, and preparing status reports for management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience managing server environments, user accounts, and network infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and software platforms.
• Familiarity with configuring and securing routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and tools.
• Ability to perform regular system backups and manage disaster recovery processes.
• Competent in maintaining accurate documentation and IT asset inventories.
• Excellent communication skills to assist users and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
