Job Overview

We are currently seeking a friendly and organized female Receptionist and Cashier to join a busy restaurant in Jeddah. Candidates from any nationality are welcome to apply for this essential customer service role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, handling billing, and providing excellent front-of-house support to ensure an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

The main duties for this position include:

• Warmly welcoming guests as they arrive and guiding them to their tables or waiting area.
• Managing table reservations via phone or in person, maintaining an accurate booking record, and organizing the waiting list during peak times.
• Coordinating with waitstaff and kitchen teams to facilitate smooth order processing and customer service flow.
• Handling billing and cash transactions efficiently, including processing payments by cash, card, or other methods while ensuring correct change and receipts are issued.
• Operating the Point of Sale (POS) system to accurately record orders and daily sales.
• Answering customer inquiries about the menu, restaurant policies, and handling any complaints professionally, escalating to management when necessary.
• Preparing daily cash reports and counting cash at the end of each shift for management review.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-organized front desk and cashier area, including proper arrangement of menus and billing materials.

Required Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage courteously with guests and staff.
• Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations during busy restaurant hours.
• Basic knowledge of cashier operations and familiarity with POS systems.
• Attention to detail for accurate billing and cash handling.
