Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager specializing in applications to lead major initiatives in Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This role involves managing diverse projects within the IT domain, from complex technology implementations to strategic business transformations. The successful candidate will oversee the entire project lifecycle and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact IT solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior IT Project Manager will:

• Develop, manage, and secure approval for comprehensive Project Management Plans.
• Lead multiple projects simultaneously, ranging from small enhancements to large-scale strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-organizational resources, including vendors, to ensure timely delivery of services, software, and hardware.
• Maintain project coherence among diverse teams working across various locations and cultural backgrounds.
• Balance business requirements with IT capabilities and budget constraints.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and manage communication with senior leaders and technical teams.
• Resolve conflicts effectively within project teams and among stakeholders to maintain project progress.
• Utilize project management tools to plan, schedule, and monitor project progress and portfolio reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Ideal candidates should possess:

• A bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 4 years focused on managing complex IT and business process projects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard project management methodologies.
• PMP certification is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of motivating teams and influencing without direct authority.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Competence in using MS Project or equivalent tools for detailed scheduling and project tracking.
• Experience with project portfolio management and reporting tools.
