Executive Summary:

A well-established and forward-growing contracting company, recognized for delivering sophisticated commercial environments, is expanding its operations in Al Khobar.

We are seeking a highly technical and leadership-oriented HVAC Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is critical in ensuring that all mechanical systems meet the highest international standards of efficiency, comfort, and regulatory compliance.

Role Overview:

The selected candidate will oversee the full lifecycle of HVAC systems within complex retail and commercial projects. The role requires bridging the gap between engineering design and flawless site execution while ensuring systems are optimized for the Saudi Arabian climate and project constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

– Engineering Review: Review and approve HVAC shop drawings, ductwork layouts, and piping schematics.

– Thermal Analysis: Conduct heat load calculations using HAP / Carrier software to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.

– Project Execution: Supervise the installation of DX systems, AHUs, FCUs, and VAV systems, ensuring strict quality and safety standards.

– MEP Coordination: Lead coordination meetings to resolve clashes with Civil, Electrical, and Firefighting disciplines.

– Compliance: Ensure all mechanical works comply with the Saudi Building Code (SBC), ASHRAE standards, and SEEC regulations.

– Commissioning: Oversee Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) processes and prepare systems for final client handover.

Professional Requirements:

– Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.

– Experience: Minimum 3 years of HVAC engineering experience, preferably in commercial fit-out or mall projects.

– Licensing: Active membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is mandatory.

– Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and HAP; knowledge of Revit (BIM) is highly desirable.

– Local Knowledge: Strong understanding of KSA regulations and Eastern Province commercial project requirements.

– Communication: Excellent English communication and strong coordination skills.
