Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Purchaser cum Driver with hands-on experience in the construction or contracting industry to join our team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role combines procurement responsibilities with driving duties, making it ideal for candidates who are organized, reliable, and have a strong understanding of local markets and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will manage purchasing of construction materials and supplies according to company requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating with vendors to negotiate pricing and confirm availability, maintaining detailed purchase records and invoices, and handling petty cash expenses accurately. Additionally, the role requires using a company vehicle for procurement errands and other official duties as needed.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Proven knowledge of local markets, vendors, and supplier networks within the construction sector
• Ability to manage petty cash efficiently and responsibly
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities
• Basic record-keeping and documentation skills
• Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Capacity to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Dependable, punctual, and well-organized with a professional attitude

Candidate Profile and Requirements

Applicants should hold at least a Secondary School Certificate or Diploma. A minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience as a purchaser and driver, preferably in a contracting or construction company, is essential. A valid Saudi Light Driving License is mandatory for this position.

Compensation and Benefits

The total salary package offers SAR 2,200 monthly, comprising a basic salary of SAR 2,000 plus a SAR 200 food allowance.
