Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Traffic Engineering Specialist to join a dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on transportation planning, traffic engineering, and enhancing road safety through expert analysis and design. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of proven experience in the field, with a strong background in highway design, traffic safety studies, and traffic management.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive traffic and transportation studies including traffic impact assessments, road safety audits, and temporary traffic management plans. You will apply your knowledge of international standards such as AASHTO Green Book, Highway Capacity Manual (HCM), Highway Safety Manual (HSM), and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) to ensure best practices are followed. Additionally, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient, safe, and regulatory-compliant traffic engineering solutions is a vital part of the position.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in transportation planning, traffic engineering, and traffic safety.
• Deep expertise in highway design, transportation planning, and conducting safety studies.
• Proficient in executing road safety audits, traffic impact studies, and temporary traffic management strategies.
• Familiar with international guidelines including AASHTO Green Book, HCM, HSM, and MUTCD.
• Relevant professional certifications such as PE, PTOE, PTP, RoSPA, or RSP.
