Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Kuwait. This opportunity is open exclusively to local candidates who hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and possess a valid KSE membership. Additional qualifications like PMP certification will be considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting site execution and supervision of mechanical works across MEP, infrastructure, and construction projects. This includes overseeing HVAC, firefighting, and plumbing systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

Handling the preparation and review of material submittals, shop drawings, and maintenance of Material Inspection Requests (MIR) and Work Inspection Requests (WIR) will be essential aspects of the role. Coordination with subcontractors, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless workflow on government projects is also a critical component of the position.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in MEP, infrastructure, or construction projects.
• Practical knowledge of site supervision and execution in mechanical disciplines.
• Familiarity with HVAC, firefighting, and plumbing system installations and maintenance.
• Experience working with material submittals, shop drawings, and relevant inspection documentation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with various project stakeholders including subcontractors and consultants.
• Proven track record with government-related projects is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Membership with the Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) is required.
• PMP certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
