Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Procurement Engineer based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to join our dynamic procurement team. This full-time role is ideal for an expatriate professional with experience in sourcing, supplier management, and market price analysis, particularly within the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth procurement of materials required for ongoing construction projects. Core duties include:

• Identifying and sourcing materials and suppliers across the Riyadh market.
• Obtaining competitive quotations and conducting detailed price comparisons from multiple vendors.
• Assisting in price analysis to support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
• Coordinating with suppliers to arrange timely delivery schedules aligned with project timelines.
• Preparing purchase requests (PR) and issuing purchase orders (PO) accurately.
• Maintaining comprehensive supplier databases and procurement documentation.
• Collaborating with project teams to support material selection and procurement planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should meet the following criteria to excel in this position:

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Civil, Mechanical, or a related field.
• Between 1 to 3 years of relevant procurement or sourcing experience, ideally in construction.
• Sound knowledge of the Riyadh supplier market and local pricing trends.
• Strong negotiation abilities coupled with excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with procurement documentation processes.
• Capability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Possession of a valid driving license is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Applicants who are currently residing in Riyadh with transferable Iqama are given preference to facilitate immediate availability and smoother onboarding.
